Andrés Echevarría passed away this past Tuesday July 8th, 2008. He was known to be one of the best instructors in all Florida and had fans and admirers all around the world. Andrés Echevarría was a great friend to all of us. He was one of my most precious friends. We will all miss you. We will remember you always.
Pam, words could never heal what you must be going through at the moment. I wish I could do so much more. The following words are dedicated to you. I’m sure these words can express the love that we all feel for you.

At this time of sorrow, we can all pray to give Pam the strength to move forward. Out of respect I will ask all of you to not bury her with questions but just to be there for her. Pray for her to gain strength with in. This is a time where we all will miss Andre and have memories. But most of all we must remember we still have each other and make sure that we look at this as a time to love one another and be Pam's strength to help her through this time. Thank you...

He was an amazing person. I admired him the moment I met him and I feel blessed to have been his student. I will always remember the dance and life lessons he taught me.

My condolences to the family Echevarria and to his wife, Pamela..you are all in my prayers…Dios esta contigo…And for Andres..you hearing me, even though we had our differences & argued, I always had luv & respect for you. I’ll never forget 9 years ago when you step into Salsa Heat in your grey slacks & blue dress shirt, clean cut. You were my student, my partner on the team, & a friend…You will be soooo missed…

I had the honor of being on Andres team a couple of semesters ago. I drove from Tampa to Orlando twice a week to be a part of his team because I knew how great he was as an instructor and a choreographer. He had such a way with people and anyone who danced for him always wanted to do their best to make him happy. Although I don't fully understand I am okay with the fact that sometimes somethings aren't explainable. You will be missed by so many. I am honored to have known you. My prayers are with his wife and family.

I have to agree and say that no amount of words can instantly heal what you are going throught right now but what I will say is that keep in mind that you have many that are behind you when ever you need anything... That includes myself
